Refreshing...

After speaking from Matthew 6 about worry last Sunday, a newer student came up to me and said,

"I like what you had to say tonight. That's totally where I am right now; you know, with all the worry bullshit?"

How many pastors realize how refreshing it was to hear that?

Don't worry but...

We generally read Matthew 6:25-34 and say, "Don't worry!" We get frustrated at how difficult that is to do. The difficulty lies in overlooking vs 33 which tells us, "But strive first for the kingdom of God."
